1. General Information
Proteus Wakeboards is a brand operated by Strojnivid d.o.o., Stara cesta 15a, 1381 Rakek, Slovenia. For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, references to "Proteus Wakeboards" shall mean Strojnivid d.o.o., operating under the Proteus Wakeboards brand.

2. Products and Availability
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs and pricing information are accurate.
Due to the nature of small-batch manufacturing, slight variations in graphics, finish, colour, materials or other cosmetic details may occur and do not constitute defects.
All products are subject to availability.
Proteus Wakeboards reserves the right to discontinue products, modify specifications or correct errors at any time without prior notice.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on the website are shown in EUR and include VAT where applicable. Payments may be made using approved payment methods available at checkout, including payment cards, Stripe, Google Pay, Revolut Pay, cryptocurrency payment services and bank transfer. Orders will only be processed after successful payment authorisation or receipt of payment.
4. Order Acceptance
Submission of an order does not automatically constitute acceptance of that order. Proteus Wakeboards reserves the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order in cases including product unavailability, pricing errors, payment issues, suspected fraud or incorrect customer information. In such cases, any payment received will be refunded.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is subject to the Shipping Terms published on this website.
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, carrier and circumstances beyond our control.
Customers should inspect deliveries upon receipt and report shipping damage within 48 hours.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, in accordance with applicable European consumer protection laws.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, customers must notify Proteus Wakeboards in writing before the expiration of the withdrawal period and return the product without undue delay. The right of withdrawal is intended to allow customers to inspect the product in the same manner as
they would in a physical retail store.
Returned products must be unused and returned in their original condition, including original packaging where reasonably possible.
Products that have been used on water, show signs of use, water exposure, rail or slider damage, impact damage, scratches or other wear resulting from use are not eligible for return under the right of withdrawal.
The customer is responsible for the cost of returning products unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Proteus Wakeboards reserves the right to inspect all returned products before issuing a refund. If a returned product is found to be ineligible for return under these Terms & Conditions, Proteus Wakeboards will notify the customer and reject the refund request.
In such cases, the customer may request the product to be shipped back to their address. Any costs associated with the return shipment shall be borne by the customer.
Refunds for approved returns will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable period after the returned product has been inspected and accepted.
7. Warranty, Product Defects and Limitations
Proteus Wakeboards products are covered by the statutory consumer rights and legal conformity protections provided under applicable law.
If a product is believed to have a manufacturing defect or does not conform to its intended purpose under normal use, customers should contact Proteus Wakeboards and provide a description of the issue together with supporting photographs.
All warranty and conformity claims are reviewed individually based on the condition of the product and the circumstances of the claim.
The use of wakeboards on rails, sliders and other park features is considered normal use. However, damage resulting from impacts with rails, sliders, obstacles, concrete, metal features or other external objects is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by warranty. The warranty and legal conformity protections do not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic wear that does not affect product performance, impacts, collisions, accidental damage, improper use, misuse, neglect, improper storage, transportation, maintenance, modifications, repairs, alterations, improper installation of bindings, excessive tightening of mounting hardware, use of incompatible hardware or improper assembly.
Proteus Wakeboards reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any warranty or conformity claim.
If a warranty or conformity claim is determined to be valid, Proteus Wakeboards will cover reasonable shipping costs associated with the claim.
If a claim is determined to be invalid, the customer shall be responsible for all shipping and transportation costs associated with the inspection and return of the product. Where a valid claim is confirmed, Proteus Wakeboards may, in accordance with applicable law, repair the product, replace the product or provide an appropriate refund.
8. Custom Orders
Custom products, including but not limited to custom graphics, custom specifications, promotional products and team rider products, may be subject to separate agreements.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, custom-made products are not eligible for return under the right of withdrawal.
Specific terms relating to custom orders may be agreed individually between Proteus Wakeboards and the customer.
9. Accessories and Apparel
Accessories, apparel and other merchandise may be returned in accordance with the return conditions set out in Section 6 of these Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Returned accessories and apparel must be unused, unworn and returned in their original condition. Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory rights relating to defective or non conforming products.
10. Limitation of Liability
Wakeboarding and related water sports involve inherent risks.
Customers are responsible for using products safely and in accordance with their intended purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proteus Wakeboards shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of its products. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Intellectual Property
All content published on this website, including logos, graphics, product designs, photographs, text and other materials, is the property of Proteus Wakeboards or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Slovenia.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Slovenia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable law.
